Behind the Scenes @ Orange Studio

Here are a few shots that I took behind the scenes of our shoot at Orange Studio today.

Macro String

Thought this shot looked kinda cool, like veins or something. Shot with 2 daylight balanced constant lights on either side of the set.

Hard Tymes Band

Our group at school did a music video for a band, and this is the final edit. The group consisted of Dakota Burris, Chris Kennedy, John Couch, and me.

New Bulbs

We just bought some new flower bulbs to be planted, and figured they should join the list of things that I’m shooting macro at the moment. Thought it turned out kind of interesting. Final is a 1:3 shot with an 85mm macro.

Bin 33

This is a short story on a restaurant in downtown Greensboro, NC. Photos and audio done by me and a friend, Lauren Quinn.

Focus Stacking

My first attempt at focus stacking. Shot about 25 images of the M&M’s, and processed them in photoshop to get the whole in focus. Each image was shot at f/8 at about 1.5 seconds. Shot with a 60mm Macro lens, at a 1:3 ratio.

Macro Glass

We had to shoot some glass, in a macro fashion, and these are 2 of my results.

Cupcakes To Go

I did a little multimedia project on a cupcake bakery in Randleman, NC. I’ll have the video on tomorrow, I’m having a few difficulties with the school computer today.

Macro Ratios

These are from a series that I shot, consisting of the macro ratios 1:10 to 1:1.
